Alright, so why do you use the DivaChix site?
I’m still on Divachix because I love the community. I joined in 2006 and instantly fell in love. I’ve also made so many great friends along the way.
How do you think people view you on this site?
That’s a really good question I wondered myself. When I asked others I’ve gotten stuff like “scary” and “sarcastic” but I’m sure most of you think I’m just way too obsessed with Miley Cyrus. But that’s ok with me
How does that perception compare to how you really are?
In real life, I think I’d be more shy when I first get to meet you and I come out of my shell once I really get to know you. I don’t think the same would apply on DC haha. I’m a bit of a pushover in real life you could say.
Do you have anything you want to clear up to the DC members or anything you want to tell them?
I don’t have anything against Paul or any of the admins at that time/currently. Many think that I despise all of them but that’s not true. Sure, Gwen still scares me a bit but I guess that’s a cool thing.
What do you think of the Dolls vs. Diva debate? Which side are you on?
I really haven’t focused on this and it won’t affect me since I stay off the main site, but I feel for Dave and Perrie seeing their hard work potentially being flushed down the toilet. I really liked the Dolls and enjoyed dressing mine up on Dollwar but I really really like the legs/feet on the Diva. That was my main concern with the Doll so I guess that problem had been solved for me.
What do you have to say about the "issues" the DC community is facing at the moment?
I’m not part of this drama (I hope not…), but from what I’ve been told & read, it just seems like a stupid argument. People will get over it soon I think.
What changes do you think need to be made on DC?
More mod activity is all I can think of off the top of my head.
If you could meet one DC member, who would it be?
There are so many I’d love to meet. I’ve really grown close to Pam/Pamelalala and Sarah/Scandal so I guess they’d be my top 2 (I am really bad when it comes to decisions like this!)
If you could switch places with a DC member, who would you choose?
That’s another good question. I guess I’d like to see how the mods, supervisors, and admins are handling this current Doll/Diva situation.
What are you hobbies outside of DC?
I like playing soccer, shopping, and hanging out with my friends. Lately I’ve been keeping a sketch book with a bunch of clothing I’ve designed and I hope to get a sewing machine to bring them to life! I’m also really interested in Polaroid cameras lately so I’ve been searching for them online to find a good model.
How would you describe your fashion tastes?
I like most fashion tastes. My style icon is Blair Waldorf, although I could never dress like her! It’s one of those rare frames where you can just pull it off I guess. My clothing is a mix of boho & grunge (leather jacket, ripped and/or skinny jeans…) I guess. I have this strange obsession with knit hats and leather jackets lately.
Who/What are you fashion inspirations/influences?
I really adore Victoria Beckham’s style. I own her fashion book and she makes it seem so effortless, I am amazed. I also see candids of Miley Cyrus and I love her grunge-y style (although she could lay off a few things – i.e. ripped tights, blue moccasins, skulls.) But I don’t have the same amount of money as her xD
What is the worst trend out there now?
Jeans that have been tucked over so many times they look like baggy capris. It doesn’t help if they are ripped too. I’m also not too sure about color block, but that could have some potential.
What is your favorite current trend?
I fell in love with practically EVERY spring trend that I want it all. Florals, pastels, leather… I am going to have so much fun shopping for spring!
What celebrity would you want to trade closets with?
Whenever I see candids of Leighton Meester or Jessica Szhor I can guarantee the only thing going through my head is “I want Leighton’s belt!” or “Where did Jessica get her headband?” Leighton usually wears solid tank tops with a cardigan but I notice she has fun with her accessories while Jessica tends to wear something more bright and fun.
