Well, Lacoste had their Fall 2009 Ready-To-Wear runway show yesterday and I love what I saw. It wasn't overly chunky and depressing and definitely still head true to the Lacoste feeling.

Sure, these outfits could make a woman lose her womanly curves and shape, but as they are merely cover-up sweaters, you can't really expect it to be so flattering, unlike the dresses from the shows that I commented on yesterday. These outfits are very wearable and are actually things I would go out and buy.
I really love the grey wrapping sweater-jacket ensemble. It is too cute! I also really like the oversized cream sweater! It's simple and a bit masculine, but still has a feminine edge to it. My only critique is the yellow gloves and the shoes. They just look awkward to me!
And the last outfit is just so "ski bunny" to me! I love the top with the wrapping belt at the waist to give some definition! Shawls are also really in at the moment!
I love that Lacoste basically did what they always do: stick with sportswear but make it look desireable and fresh each season but still classic. That is the secret to success: stick with what you know but take some risks along the way!
